Sounds Like a Mystery — But It’s Not!
No mystery here! We’re talking cigar cases! Even smaller than the typical travel humidors, precious few include humidification devices. The sole function is to protect the contents from bending and crushing. Most are made of high-impact plastic, but leather and metal ones can be found in a size to fit every cigar. Some are compartmentalized to hold several cigars; others have “fingers” – distinct slots that hold one cigar each. The best are softly lined and can pass the “sniff test” — no odor of tanning chemicals, leather glue or plastic to ruin the cigars within.

THE CIGAR JAR . . .
This glass jar is a complete humidor with an airtight seal and its own humidification system. It is designed to hold one full box of cigars, 25 or more, depending on the ring gauge. It usually can accommodate lengths up to 7-1/2″, but there are larger cigar jars to be found that will easily handle all the big boys. These most affordable and effective humidors are available at many tobacco stores, and can also be found online.

A Smokin’ Combo:
Cigars & Beer

These two may be the perfect pair, but be aware! Your quality cigar can easily overpower a light beer. We recommend you pair a stout (an Imperial is the best) with your smoke. Not a fan of stouts? A strong German black, doppelbock, old ale or a porter will fare well, allowing you to enjoy both the smoke and the brew, with neither being overpowering.
