Established in 1996 in Battle Creek, Arcadia continues to carve out its niche in the craft beer community with world-class, medal-winning ales handcrafted with British inspiration. Using authentic British, German and Belgium equipment in their $7 million riverfront brewery, today Arcadia Ales has two production locations, one in Battle Creek, the other in Kalamazoo. Combined production exceeds 25,000 barrels, 31 gallons each.

Their tribute to the Scottish Highlands, Loch Down Scotch Ale offers a gorgeous garnet color joined by the aroma of ripe plums and freshly-baked biscuits. The rich full-bodied texture reveals notes of roasted chestnuts and caramel in the smooth single-malt style brew. Balanced with just the right amount of hop character, this beer delights with crisp alcohol finish.

A Silver Medal Winner in the 2015 Great American Beer Festival, Arcadia IPA is dry-hopped with Columbus hops. Boasting a bright floral aroma, and flavor reminiscent of pine and lemon peel, the pronounced hop bitterness is balanced by a medium-bodied caramel and biscuit-like malt character. SCOTCH ALE — Arcadia Ale’s Loch Down Scotch Ale: This top-fermented ale is a smooth single-malt Scotch brew, its success hinging on balance. Pair with roast leg of lamb, roast beef, wild game, smoked salmon, Manchego cheese or toffee pudding.

INDIA PALE ALE — Arcadia Ale’s Arcadia IPA: Another top-fermented ale, this was originally made bitter and strong to survive long boat trips. Arcadia’s pairs well with Indian, Cajun and Creole cuisines, aged bleu cheese, grilled seafood or shellfish.
