There’s something for everybody in this month’s shipment!

In the center we’ve packed TOFFEE BARS, some dipped in milk chocolate, the others coated with rich dark chocolate. What’s the secret behind the intoxicating taste of toffee? It’s all about the sweetness. Most toffee is a mixture of water, sugar, corn syrup, and a pinch of salt, carefully heated to a “hard ball” stage, which requires constant stirring to prevent burning. After reaching the right consistency, it is removed from the heat; then creamy butter, additional flavoring and coloring are added. Before it can cool, the concoction is pulled and stretched into the fluffy, creamy confection we know as toffee. If that wasn’t good enough, then it’s dipped in chocolate!

In a protective circle around the toffee bars, you will encounter three of our very best varieties of chocolate goodies — good luck choosing!

Chunky clusters of roasted, salted *PEANUT CLUSTERS are drenched in milk chocolate. Peanuts are an important source of protein and healthy fats, an integral part of the diets of man and beast alike for thousands of years. Mmmm – salty and sweet! You’re gonna go nuts for them!

The toasted COCONUT clusters benefit from their lavish bath of dark chocolate. These offer sweet creamy white coconut on the inside and dashingly dark chocolate on the outside. Coconut is the fruit (called the drupe) of the coconut palm, which grows on the shores of tropical islands. It has saved countless castaways from starvation and dehydration, and can do the same for you — only in less dramatic fashion. Though coconut oil is high in fat, it is a healthy fat when enjoyed in moderation. Not only an ingredient used in cooking and baking, coconut oil is used widely in the making of cosmetics, skin and hair care products, fragrances, and even wood furniture conditioners.

Lastly we’ve bound WALNUTS and CRANBERRIES together with a coating of white chocolate. Did you know that five or more five-ounce servings of crunchy nuts (including walnuts) over the course of a week may cut your risk of heart disease by up to 50%? True story! The tart, red edible berries known as cranberries were first used by Native Americans for their medicinal properties. Full of vitamins, they are nature’s first line of defense against urinary tract infections, as well as other disorders, including tooth decay and even cancer. Need an excuse to have more than one? You could say the Walnut and Cranberry Clusters in this shipment are “for medicinal purposes.”

*PEANUT SENSITIVITY? Peanuts are known to trigger allergic reactions in some people. Please be aware of the peanut content in our selection this month. As all products are packaged together, it’s possible that all have come in contact with the nuts.
