While your favorite Pizza of the Month Club prides itself on bringing you the best of both the usual and the unusual pizza types, there are three varieties you will quite likely never find being delivered at your door . . . It’s up to you to create:

VEGGIE PIZZA — Spread out two 8 oz. rolls of refrigerator crescent rolls on a baking sheet, all the way to the sides of the sheet, forming an edge. Bake for 15 minutes at 375°. Let cool. Mix two 8 oz. packages of soft (room temperature) cream cheese with 2/3 cup mayo, 1 tsp. dill weed, 1/4 tsp. garlic powder and 1 tsp. finely chopped onion. Spread this over the cooled crust. Sprinkle generously with cauliflower, broccoli, olives, carrots, and radishes (or any of your other favorites) over the cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate for two hours. Cut into small serving slices.

FRUIT PIZZA — Slice a package of pre-made sugar cookie dough into 1/8″ slices and press into a greased pizza pan, overlapping slightly, forming an edge. Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned. Let cool completely. Blend 1/2 pint whipped whipping cream and an 8 oz. package of softened cream cheese and spread over the crust. Arrange fresh (or canned) fruit of your choice — strawberries, grapes, peaches, bananas, etc. on top. Creativity is a plus here, as alternating shapes and colors in a pattern makes for a beautifully colorful dish. Boil 1/2 cup each orange juice and sugar with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 1/4 cup water until thick. Pour glaze over the fruit and chill well before serving. A “fix ahead and forget it” type of recipe, it’s a crowd pleaser!

DESSERT PIZZA — Melt all but 2 ounces of a 1 lb. package of white almond bark with 1 lb. semi-sweet chocolate in a 2-quart bowl in the microwave according to package directions. Stir until smooth. Stir in 1 cup each crispy rice cereal, salted peanuts and mini marshmallows. Spread onto a wax paper lined 14″ pizza pan. Dot the top with well-drained and halved maraschino cherries. Melt the remaining 2 oz. white chocolate and drizzle over the top. Sprinkle with coconut, cool, crack into pieces, serve and take a bow.
