Brewing award-winning craft beer since 1994, Tommyknockers uses pure Rocky Mountain snow melt, the finest malted barley, high quality hops and their exclusive strains of yeast. Their beers have consistently won awards globally. Now being sold in only a few states, one taste and you’ll know why their growth continues to be sure and steady! Tommyknocker Brewery and Pub are nestled in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, 30 miles west of Denver.

Quite possibly the most awarded brewery you’ve never heard of, that’s O.K. with Tommyknockers, as they have never been about the fads. Instead, they focus on making great, drinkable ales, lagers and a roster of seasonals, (plus their own line of sodas!) that have stood the test of time. Over 110 awards from a multitude of international and local competitions, plus 17 Great American Beer Festival medals, prove this brewery with humble roots is unique.

TKB is dedicated to both community and environment, partnering with local organizations to raise money for great causes and promote local industry. They are also a “green” brewery employing a comprehensive recycling program and utilizing renewable energy.

A classic American India Pale Ale dominated by pleasant hop bitterness and aroma, Pick Axe IPA benefits from dry hops that create uniquely complex aromas and award-winning flavors. It’s their most popular draft in the pub for good reason!

Award-winning Maple Nut Brown Ale is made with a touch of maple syrup added to each barrel for roasted sweetness that counterbalances the nut flavor produced by Munich, caramel and chocolate malts. The freshest ingredients and brisk mountain air combine to make a remarkably drinkable brown ale.

Featured Beer from Tommyknocker Brewery: Pick Axe IPA & Maple Nut Brown Ale

INDIA PALE ALE —Tommyknocker’s Pick Axe IPA: Made bitter and strong to survive the long boat trip, it was originally brewed for British soldiers in India. Tommyknocker’s version is not a hoppy monster like some IPA’s, better described as complex and unique. Enjoy this refreshing, top-fermented brew with seafood and all things spicy or grilled.

MAPLE NUT BROWN ALE —Tommyknocker’s Maple Nut Brown Ale: All ales are top fermented, expressive and complex in flavor, usually with a fruitiness not found in lagers. This brew’s beautifully balanced with maple syrup for a roasted sweetness. Tommyknocker’s Maple Nut Brown Ale is perfect served as an aperitif, or with lamb chops or salmon.
